Bohnice nejsou jenom nemocnice a sídliště. Staré Bohnice je vesnická památková zóna, která si zachovala unikátní ráz. Žijí zde nicméně tisíce lidí, kteří se přistěhovali a ze svého okolí znají pouze sídliště.
Bohnice slaví v roce 2018 celých 860 let od první písemné zmínky. Touto zmínkou je tzv. autentika – zakládaní listina kostela. Dochovala se v originále, byla prohlášena za kulturní památku a je uložena v Archivu hlavního města Prahy. Autentika je unikát, který si zachovalo velmi málo kostelů.
K tomuto výročí tým kolem Renáty Molové připravil kalendář s historickými fotografiemi Bohnic sebranými během setkávání s pamětníky. Kalendář je prvním tištěným výstupem desetiletého budování historického fotoarchivu. Obsahuje celkem 12 unikátních fotografií Bohnic převážně z 20. let 20. století, velikost kalendáře je A4 na šířku. Spolu s kalendářem se k tomuto výročí vydaly i pohlednice.
Cílem vydání kalendáře je vzbudit v lidech zájem o místo, kde bydlí a jeho historii. Umožnit jim, aby si našli i další vztah k lokalitě, kde žijí.
