Laura Panait

Laura Panait is an urban anthropologist (PhD) interested in action research and how the urban space can be shaped more by its inhabitants. She dreams of a more shared, more open city in which community stories and facts are more important than political games emanating from the center.

Our project “La Terenuri Manastur / At the Manastur playgrounds” is a community project working with inhabitants to reclaim the most green area of the neighbourhood. We wish to work more on active citizenship, to have more responsible authorities and transform our urban laboratory in this community into a reality for the whole city.
