What We Do

We are an independent Czech foundation focused on community and philanthropy development. We support people who work collaboratively to improve their communities and give their time, energy or money to help others. We run grant programs for engaged citizens of all ages and we operate an online giving tool. We are funded primarily through gifts from individual, corporate and foundation donors.

Since our founding in 1997, we have supported almost 9,000 projects across the Czech Republic. We have invested over CZK 650 million (EUR 25 million; $28 million) into community and philanthropy projects, and we have facilitated gifts to non- profit organizations of more than CZK 2 billion (EUR 84 million; $94 million) through our online giving tool, Darujme.cz.

Zdeněk Mihalco

Executive Director

Zdeněk Mihalco is in charge of the strategic leadership of the foundation. He works closely with members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board and with major donors, supervises several foundation programs and takes part in financial management.

Michaela Rázgová

Program department

Michaela Rázgová leads the program department, is part of the senior management team and helps the program team work effectively with other foundatin departments.
