For the first time, Via Foundation and Friends of Via are holding an online auction & live stream for our English-speaking community. The online auction runs from November 11 through December 1, and you can already view or bid on items here.
As part of the month-long auction, we’ll be live streaming from Prague on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 5 – 6 p.m. EST. You can join us by clicking here. During the November 21st live stream, we’ll be showcasing the auction items, the artists who created them and Via’s work.
What will be auctioned?
- Work by leading Czech artists and designers such as renowned glass sculptor Martin Janecky, a vase of Czech crystal by Rückl and Rony Plesl, a unique photo of Václav Havel and an art photo by Ivan Pinkava
- Designer protective face masks
- Extraordinary experiences connected to the Czech Republic

How will your gift be used?
All proceeds will help fund Nadace Via’s community-building programs:
- Living Communities – small grants and training for community-minded citizens, which, in our experience, are a pillar of democracy
- Don’t Be Afraid of Local Politics – mentoring citizens helping their communities through public office
- Young Philanthropists – guidance for children and teenagers giving back to their communities
