We are an independent, Czech community and philanthropy development foundation. We support people who work collaboratively to improve their communities and give their time, energy or money to help others. We run grant programs for engaged citizens of all ages and also operate an online giving tool. We are funded through gifts from individual, corporate and foundation donors; we do not seek funding from government sources.

Since our founding in 1997, we have supported more than 8,000 projects in one-fifth of all of the municipalities in the Czech Republic. We have invested CZK 600 million ($24 million) into community and philanthropy projects, and we have facilitated gifts to non- profit organizations of more than CZK 1 billion ($42 million) through our online giving tool, Darujme.cz.
